I love to travel and have planned a diverse range of trips for my family of 5, starting when my oldest was about 2 — he is now 15. To name a few, we’ve taken the long weekend trips down the California coast; rented an RV and drove it to the Anza-Borrego Desert, and another trip to Glacier National Park; done the exotic in Thailand and Cambodia; rented the villa in Tuscany; and hiked through lush jungle on Kauai.
Planning a family trip can be quite daunting, so this blog provides you with advice, tips, and resources for helping you out. I also have a travel consulting business. So, if you are thinking about your next trip, but don’t have the time or energy to do the research and planning. Or, you know where you want to go, but don’t have time to manage all the details, contact me. Whether you’re thinking weekend getaway, spring break, summer adventure, or Christmas vacation, I can help tailor a trip that’s just right for you and your family, with as little or as much help as you need.
My professional background includes over 10 years in marketing communications for high-tech companies like Apple Computer and Synopsys, and starting an online baby blanket business, which I had for 5 years. I continue to volunteer in various capacities in my children’s schools, and the Ronald McDonald House. This blog and travel consulting venture combines my excellent organizational and communications skills with my passion for family travel.
